What's been happening at Feldon Valley.
Since the club was purchased in late 2013 and 360 Golf were appointed in February 2014 there has been an ongoing change program of upgrading to improve the offering both in the quality of the golf course and the clubhouse.
Some of those improvements include -
Recruitment of new staff including : General Manager, Golf Director and Greenskeepers.
March '14: New course furniture
March '14: New signage all around the clubhouse, car park and entrance off road
April '14: Purchase of 4 new pieces of machinery for the greenskeepers
April '14: New course maintenance policy and standards of presentation and cutting
May '14 : New stock in golf shop - Brands including: Glenmuir, Ping, Level 4, Yes putters
May'14 : Regular custom fitting days on the range with a wide range of brands and "price matching" to ensure competitiveness
May '14 : Total refurbishment of decking area
June '14: Lighting installed in car park
August '14: Major tree clearing and thinning on "Sutton Brook" Phase 1
August '14: Extensive drainage program on 8 holes, carried out by White Horse Contractors
January "15: Interim renovation of the bar/ lounge with new blinds for windows, all walls painted and new sofa's for soft seating area.
February '15: Refurbishment of the pro shop, creating a more welcoming and lighter space
February '15 upgraded entrance with new 'welcome' gates
March '15: Additional brands introduced to pro shop stock including Greg Norman clothing and Stubburt shoes
April '15: Total refurbishment of both ladies and gents changing rooms. Lockers and new carpeting fitted throughout, better lighting and more comfort
May '15: New chef and menus in the restaurant
May '15: New high quality warm up net near 1st tee
May '15: New wash-down bay for greenkeepers
May '15: New roof for buggy store
May "˜15: Refurbishment and improved layout of offices
Through 2015 and beyond the change program will continue maintaining focus on the golf course and the 'after golf experience'
